Big Blue Wrestling Club Club Coach wanted for Big Blue Wrestling Club The Big Blue Wrestling Club of Brooklyn, whose members are mostly Brooklyn Technical High School wrestlers, are seeking an experience Club Coach for its spring and summer programs. Brooklyn Tech is a specialized school, where students have to qualify academically to be accepted. The program began in 2007 under the Partnership between the DOE-NYC and the Beat the Streets Wrestling Inc. In 4 short years, Brooklyn Tech HS has established itself as the premier program of the BTS initiative that has expanded to well over 100 MS & HS teams. Under the guidance and tutelage of the Coaching Staff led by Jean Brutus, they captured the 2011 New York City PSAL Wrestling Championship. The staff has been able to successfully recruit the school’s top student athletes to the sport and had over 80 boys and girls finish the season. Their goals are to become a premier program in New York State and pursue excellence at the next level of wrestling. The wrestlers are highly motivated and eager to learn and whomever accepts the position will enjoy working with a room full of kids that love wrestling. The right candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in the sport of wrestling. A person who is a teacher of wrestling skills , body positioning and has the ability to transfer and develop the passion & mentality that helps build successful people. The goal for Big Blue wrestling is to train high school athletes to wrestle like college wrestlers.
