Your dollars at work--funds in the amount of $ 300.00, per athlete attending Fargo, were distributed by Section XI for 2009-2010, to 28 athletes.  Similarly, checks for $ 300.00, per athlete attending Fargo, were distributed to 17 athletes, in 2010-2011.  Warmup/workout jackets were bought for Section XI athletes on the Junior Duals Trip for 2010-2011.

Section XI hosted the Kids Folkstyle States at Bay Shore High School, in 2011, and will do so again the weekend of March 2-4, 2012.
 
Section XI trained Freestyle/Greco Roman Officials from our own athlete population.  Those athletes served the local qualifiers on Long Island, while competing,  and received $ 100.00, per event from Section VIII and Section XI at more than 15 events. 
 
It is the plan of Section XI to work in cooperation with Section VIII, to provide even more events on Long Island for 2011-2012.  Watch the website, and watch for training sites to become Freesytle/ Greco Roman Officials.  Volunteer your club to host an event.
